Who can apply?

Any LHS Staff who has a need for items that encourage, excite, and enhance the learning environment and/or experience for Liberty High School students can apply for an enrichment grant.  These extra needs and wants for the classroom usually cannot be funded through the normal channels such as department, technology, and district or school general fund monies.

What can LHS Staff apply for?

The main focus of the grants is for for educational and classroom requests.  Requests for extra curricular or sports items are typically handled through the Liberty Boosters Club instead of through PTSA.  For larger grants, we may ask if the request can be funded through other organizations, such as the Issaquah Schools Foundation grant program.  Note that we do not fund field trips.

Some of the past items funded include textbooks, math software, Shakespearian Workshop, science equipment, drums, frames for artwork, playwright workshop, Challenge Day, digital cameras, and microphones.
