PREPARING FOR POST-HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION

SAT PREP offering classes at Liberty High School
Sign up now to take a SAT preparation class through SAT PREP.  The spring class will run on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 8:15 pm from March 10 - April 21 (no class on March 31).  The class ends right before the May 1, 2010 SAT test.  Register for this class by March 4th.

SAT Prep also offers classes at neigboring Hazen High School and Skyline High School.  All the dates are listed on the below flyer. For more information and on how to register, please see the attached flyer or go to www.SATPrep.org.

Kaplan offering ACT preparation classes at Liberty High School


Sign-up information will be coming soon for the ACT preparation class to be held at Liberty during May and June, preparing students to take the June 12th ACT exam. (Note that registration for the June test needs to be done by May 7, 2010 to avoid the late registration fees.)

Each year, LHS provides several seminars to help parents and students preparing for post-high school education.  Watch for opportunities in the fall and winter to attend the following or similar seminars:

October - College Application Night
October - Scholarship Night
November - Financial Aid Night
January - College Planning Night
