You can make a difference at Liberty by volunteering. There are opportunities to help with a one time event, such as campus beautification or hospitality, or to help with on-going efforts such as working in the attendance office or preparing the newsletter. + Enrichment Grant Committee (Reviewing requests for grants)
+ Grant Writing (Assisting staff in preparing grants, such as ISF grants)
+ Reflections Committee (Assisting the chair with the Reflections Art Contest)
+ Membership Committee (Assisting the chair with membership drive, such as computer input, directory delivery, etc.)

Newsletter Editor
The editor receives information from the PTSA board, teachers and school to compile into the newsletter monthly during the school year. It takes 3-5 hours to collect all the information, format it, determine the best layout, and create a draft of the newsletter. The draft is then reviewed. Changes can take an additional 1+ hours. Once the newsletter is final, it is sent to the webmaster for posting on the website as a pdf. Previously, the newsletter was prepared in Publisher but any program can be used.
Parent Education Representative
The Parent Education Representative is primarily responsible for coordinating 3-4 educational opportunities each year for parents in the Liberty Community. The Parent Ed. Rep can also provide information for the monthly newsletter and website, including notifying Liberty parents about other educational seminars available throughout the District and community. (Averages 3 hours per month.)
